The ridge causes loops to be formed when the zigzag stitch is used. Especially suitable for tailor-tacking. Further uses: fagotting (imitation hemmstitch), fringe- and terrycloth embroidery, etc.

The unique design of this foot includes a 1/4" (6mm) tall ridge in the center of the foot. Used with a 3mm zigzag (or wider), the ridge will cause the stitches to loop as they are formed above the fabric Fast and accurate tailor tacks! Simply stitch through the paper pattern and all layers of fabric as needed. Gently separate the fabric layers and clip the thread loops, leaving thread on each piece of fabric This foot is also well suited for other applications such as faggotting, fringing and chenille appliqué.

Fits all the old Bernina models from the 530 to the 1630, including the current 1008.

This foot does not fit modern electronic models, Artista, Aurora, Virtuosa & Activa.
